Yesterday after my superbly bitchy entry I had to take Kent to work. I needed the car for errands. He yelled at me in the car (accused me of not listening). So I repeated back to him (word for word) the exact thing I supposedly wasn't listening to. After that we didn't talk at all. I took the kids to Target (birthday shopping for my friend's little girl). I was fine in Target. Irritated but fine. Then I had to pick up a few things at the grocery store. About halfway through that I started feeling very tired. By the time I got to the car I was shaking. By the time I got home, I felt nauseous. Kent called during his break and I was so glad because I didn't think I would be able to pick him up from work. So instead I left right then to go pick him up (during his lunch break) and he drove me to my meeting. That took about 5 minutes total and then he took me & the kids home and dropped us off. I thought I was DYING. It came on so fast. I spent last night huddled under 3 blankets on the couch, my whole body hurt. I was pretty miserable. Mastitis. AGAIN. I feel a little better tonight. Instead of being extremely cold I'm extremely hot. And still very tired. And now my whole body is only a tiny bit achy. I probably should be sleeping but I can't. I actually think the stress of fighting is what put me over the edge from feeling fine to NOT FINE. I hate fighting so much, I really do. I'm good at it but I hate it. Okay.
Then since I felt so crappy when he brought us home, I just got back into pajamas. And, of course, the UPS man came. Why do those people always show up when you're A) in pajamas, B) in the shower, or C) not home? I think they KNOW things. Anyway. But the UPS man had my new camera so YAY. Right? No. Not right.
The camera SUCKS. Actually it's a very nice camera. If you want to take pictures of flowers, or the moon, or... you know, anything that doesn't move. But it has a distance flash - which is great for far away shots but washes out a person's face close up. The zoom feature (12x) was AMAZING. But. To get decent close up shots of the kids I had to put it on manual setting and change aperture and all that crap. I know how to do it but I don't want to do it. I didn't buy a P&S camera to have to use manual settings. Bleurgh. So. If you primarily use a camera for scenery, landscapes.. things like that (or if you like all the people you take photos of to have washed out faces), then I highly recommend the Kodak Z712. Otherwise, no. We're taking ours back. I'm kind of upset about it but not as much as I thought I'd be. I really love the camera that we have now, it's just dying. If we could buy this one again (if they still made it) then we would. Stupid Kodak. So now I'm looking again. At least I know this time I won't have to talk Kent into it because he's already said yes. :)
