Kent and I have been doing okay. Nothing new but nothing bad going on either. I can't complain, really.
I'm worried about my neighbor. I haven't talked about her much. When she first moved in I liked her. Then I didn't like her so much. She's rather flirty and Kent's a nice guy and blah. Nevermind, that's all waaaay in the past now. Anyway. She found herself a boyfriend thingamajig and she is now pregnant. The thing is, I haven't seen her at all in about 2 weeks which is really weird. She hasn't been out and her car hasn't moved at all. Now, I'm not peeking in the windows like Mrs. Kravitz or anything, it's just that we sit outside a lot and almost every day we'd see her. Now instead when we're out there we always see someone bringing her groceries or picking up her son and taking him somewhere for the entire day. I know how... busybodyish I sound but that's not it. I'm just wondering if she's okay (which, it seems to me, she must not be if she hasn't left the house at all for a couple weeks). Then I wonder - should I offer to help? I don't want to be nosey - she might not want me to know anything. Or maybe she needs more help but is afraid to ask? We haven't become great friends but I do know her and I know her little boy. He is the tiniest little thing! He's 1.5 years old (almost) and he's not much bigger than Aislyn but he is sooo quick! It's funny seeing him walking around and everything. :) Anyway...
Urgh. Kent should be home in about an hour and HE is cooking tonight. Yay! Today is the perfect day, nice breeze - not too hot, not too cold. I wish every day was this nice. Of course, without crap weather to compare it to then it probably wouldn't be so great. Oh well. Haha. I like the rain sometimes too, especially if it rains when it is sunny. I talk about the weather too much! It just really affects my mood.
I've actually been scrapbooking lately! Well, the past few days. I've even finished a couple of pages, haha. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to that so sometimes it takes me an entire week of working to finish just one page. Of course that's only 30 minutes or so a day but still. My MIL can do 12 pages in that time, haha.
So we're going to Houlton for the 4th of July. I'm kind of glad about that I guess. It's the only holiday I really enjoy spending up there. It sucks this year because Sean & Tracy (my good B&SIL) won't be able to make it. Oh well, there will still be the parade and it will be Aislyn's FIRST parade. :) I wonder if she'll like it. Riley loved the parade the first time he went but he was over a year old (we spent his first 4th with my grandparents out to camp).
Okay, I have to go. I'll try to post photos next time. I was going to this time but Aislyn's just decided she is fussy! :)
Also! Anyone who has kids that play with Thomas toys (the wooden railway ones) should go to this site. There has been a recall due to lead in the paint. I don't know if that's just in the US or not but I thought I'd pass it along.
